Periodically Nerdy About
Hi, I'm the nerd behind it.
I teach Physics 11, Chemistry 11 and Advanced Science 10 in Québec. My lessons turn complex science into clear, visual steps, with enough humour to keep everyone awake, even during kinematics.
Experience
With a BA and a BSc in hand, I began my career teaching in Asia for four years. That's where I learned to give clear instruction, adapt to all kinds of learners, and occasionally explain why gravity works everywhere, not just in Canada.
Today I teach Physics 11, Chemistry 11 and Advanced Science 10. I build engaging, inquiry-based lessons that connect complex scientific ideas to real-world applications.
I balance rigorous academics with a sense of humour, and I focus on three things for every student: strong understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
Teaching style
As a dyslexic educator, I naturally think and teach outside the box. I break complex concepts into clear, visual, accessible steps, so every student understands the why, not just the what.
I use simulations, demonstrations and interactive tools to give students more than one way to connect with the material. My classroom is a place to explore ideas, ask questions, and learn in ways that match each student's strengths.
Clarity
Every step visible, every idea explained.
Creativity

Flexible thinking
More than one way to reach the answer.
Education, as elements
Each credential gets a real element symbol, with its real atomic number.
